The pain is so severe
Resentments I can’t bear
I thank you for forgiveness
The cure that’s in the air

You removed my desire to drink
A miracle right there
Still, I’m left with other faults
To rid of them is all I care

I’ve got to be happy with “what is”
Forget about what’s been done
Now is new … defects are few  _
Compared with yesterday’s sun
