    Cinco De Mayo

    One day, I don’t recall the year, but it was May 5th. I was driving along and I saw several Hispanic gentlemen standing around a pick-up truck. there were a couple of state troopers questioning them. The pick-up was off the road, stuck in a ditch. All I could think of was “but for the grace of God.” Happy Fourth of July, guys.

    I’ve read, my name means … “Strength In God”
    Yet some folks think I am a fraud
    Only you can “Renew My Strength”
    I am willing to go to “Any Length”
    I try to “Take My Luck As It Comes”
    And out of enemies … I’ll make chums

    At times I feel they talk through me.
    Believe what you want, That’s your right.
