I’m sorry for someone who won’t believe
You think you are self-made with all you achieve
I’m sorry for you, you on your death-bed …
When all the doctor can do … is just shake his head
Just believe Higher Power won’t desert you
Fold your hands. Humble out. Bow your head
Rest in peace, now you’re dead
Live again

A Living Will
Someone said to me, “If I die tomorrow, and I have a dollar in my pocket, It was a dollar too much.” this is true, however it would be nice to leave my children a little something. Your will be done, Lord, not mine.I really don’t know what I want, anyway, but you do.

Just what my job is, I still do not know
It’s a day at a time, a journey, so slow
He feeds the birds, we count more than they
The elephants, enormous, eats nothing but hay
Higher Power thinks of everything
He knows what we need before we ask
He’ll never give us too great a task
