    The Plan

Everyday when we wake up there are 2
plans going on. Our plan and God’s plan.
It’s nice when they are both the same. It
    doesn’t always happen.

I might be planning a nice Sunday ride
in the country. Go out to start the car
and it doesn’t start. God had another plan.
I must accept it. Maybe I go back into
the house (which I wasn’t planning on doing) and
the phone rings. Someone wants to take us
out to eat. Now it’s a little easier to
accept. I believe the Master wants us to
    enjoy life.

Today I pray to do your will, God. My
will is junk. You know what is best for me.
    I really don’t. Sometimes I don’t even know
what I want. But You do. I pray that my
will is to do your will.

Time is a thing; it’s natural, see the kids growin’
Close your eyes; open ‘em. Gray hairs, wrinkles showin’.
Without warning, it seems, clouds covered my dreams.
If it’s only clouds, clouds disappear, the sky again will clear.
No more fear, new dreams soon appear.

    Pray For An Open Mind

Dear Master, today I pray for an
open mind; clear and free from fear and
ignorance. Today I search for truth.

You are the truth. I will look for you in
everyone I meet today, everywhere I go.

When I search for the truth I find
my Higher Power. When I search for God
    I find the truth.
