I’ve only been to jail 3 times in
my life. Twice was a direct result of my
drinking of alcohol. Once I woke up in
jail with stitches on my face and very sore.
Not knowing can be scary. Did I cease to
drink then? No, not yet. I didn’t know
about bottoms yet. I was still “enjoying”
    the drink.

Thank-You, my Master, I did not drink
today. Thank-You Master, I did not want
    to drink today. And I
    pray I don’t drink today.

People often ask, “How do I know
what is God’s will for me?”

    I don’t always know what God’s will
is for me, however I usually know
what it isn’t. For instance, in my case
and I’m speaking only about myself,
It is not God’s will for me to drink alcohol.
It is not God’s will for me to be negative.
It is fairly easy to figure out what
    God’s will isn’t.

My Master, today I pray to do Your will.
I pray that my will is to do Your will.

Money is nice, but helping others pays twice.
The feeling of helping one truly in need
    Pays for itself, satisfaction, guaranteed
You know I preach a lot more than I practice
Sometimes I see it, and that’s what the facts is.
So, if I feel incomplete, like pepper and no salt …
You can rest assured, it’s my own dog gone fault.
