    Have It Your Way

My Lord. My Master. I want to love You
with all my love. Then I can lobe others.
I’ve done everything in this wordl that I wanted
to do. It got me nowhere. Now I want to
be the person You want me to be. I want
to try it Your way. Lead on.

    Find Your Talents

Early in my recovery, I read, “We have the ability to create if we want to.” To create means to make something out of nothing. Plastic wrap is made from corn. Anything that we create comes from something that the Master Creator has already created. Any material man makes comes from something given to us here on earth. Liquids, solids, gas.

So believe He wants us to use them to create whatever it is He wants us to make. It’s here for the asking. The Creator gives everyone a talent. That’s what my grandmother always told me.

If you’re doin’ your best, and they still call you lazy
Let it alone, they’ll just drive ya crazy
What goes around, comes around, in the road there’s a curve
    Everyone gets everything they deserve.
If “God feeds the sparrows,” you know we’ll survive
Gratitude won’t come; lest we thank Him … we are alive.
