    Walk With Me

A friend of mine says, “You have your health, you can always take a walk.” He’s right, it doesn’t cost anything and I always feel better. Whether I just walk a little bit or if I walk 2 miles. For me, 2 miles is a lot. For him, I think he likes 5 or 6 miles. Whatever the case may be, I thank God for a peaceful walk. Thank-You Lord for everything today.

    A Sound Mind

I looked up the word Sober in a dictionary one time. It said: “A sound mind.” If I’m taking a drink or a drug, I do not have a sound mind.

Captain Nemo, in “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea”, said, “The greatest treasures in the world are a full belly and a sound mind.”

I believe he was right. Thank you Master for the Good Life.

If you knew my dad, you knew he liked to “tip a few.” One day I was talking to him and he said that he pours the vodka into the glass and God lets him drink it. At first, I thought it was absurd. However, after thinking about it for a year or 2, I see that he spoke the truth. God did let him drink. God doesn’t let me drink anymore or I would still be doing it. So All you people that God still lets drink, I’d like you to give dad a toast tonight before bed. He would like that.

Now I have 2 Fathers waiting for me up in Heaven. My earthly father and my Heavenly Father. Here’s to ya. [Already wrote this bit on Feb. 13]
