If the Lord saved me, why should I be afraid? Why am I fearful, oh me of little faith?

“The Lord is the light and my salvation, of Whom shall I be afraid?” I shall not fear a long life or a long death because he will be with me. I have seen it with my earthly father. The Master was with him to the end. As long as I do what I believe he wants me to do and don’t do what I think he doesn’t want me to do – I need not worry.

Man, I ain’t never heard of someone who felt like this
This was one trip I wish I coulda missed
I mean, I thought this could only happen to other people
There was just one place left to go; it had a steeple
Like never before, I felt its aura
I felt angel wings pull me out from Hell’s horror

    One Breath

I remember when I was in my early 20’s. I would say, “This week went by fast!” A man I worked with, was in his 50’s and he’d say, “Imagine how fast it goes for me.” The older you get, the faster it seems to go, he would say. I don’t know, maybe he was right. I don’t seem to wait for anything anymore. If something is planned for 2 weeks from now, it comes soon enough. Life is just one breath at a time. Lord, help me to use my time wisely. Lord, thank – You for each moment.
