I’ve never been suicidal , but I‘ve been in an empty room inside my head where I could see why people would want to be dead. I was brought up not to believe in suicide. There have been times when I would rather have dead. I’ve come out the other side, I think stronger, maybe wiser. I’ve been hospitalized for grave, emotional disorders. In fact the last two times it was like a double-edged sword. I went in because I desperately needed help and then I found myself helping others. We never know where our higher power will use us. But we do know when. He can always use us.

Those of us who pray to understand rather than to be understood (St. Francis of A) have the upper hand over people who do not say this prayer, or even do not want to say it. It is because we know we are sick. I think most people don’t know it, however if we can truly understand this, we can pity them.
Who is it that is perfectly sound or well? Every day? Every moment? Every thought?
I once heard that if someone says they are happy all the time, they are either lying or an idiot.
Seek counseling from a Christian if you are a Christian. “Do not call your best friend an idiot.”
