    And every real joy
    He’s not talking about
    When girl meets boy
    He speaks of something
    a bit more everlasting
    It comes from hard work
    and maybe from fasting
    From Love and Forgiveness
    Of this O a, certain
    ’Cause He’s taken away
    Most of my hurtin’

    Live simple. Don’t project.
    Speak kindly. Your words reflect.
    Be humble. Swallow your pride.
    Be honest. Lies cannot hide.

  • My Daily Meds: December 28

    Judge not. Or be judged. Don’t even judge
    Myself. Am I going to heaven when I die?
    I’d like to think so. Only God will be the
    Judge of that. Not you. Not me. Do what you
    can do. Your best. Work for God. God gives
    Every man his work. He does not say exactly
    how you (we) will be paid. We do know
    God pays well. I have everything I need
    So far. Thank-You, Lord
