In the last 6 weeks, 6 people I know have died. 2 were elderly, one had cancer, one was murdered (they caught the criminal) and 2 died from drug-related incidences. I choose to believe my Master is all-forgiving. They were not bad people. I can’t believe any of them are in hell. But you know what? Maybe it’s time to do what we are supposed to be doing. Right now. Just in case. Lord, you have the power to bend and shape us. Please do it.

    St. Patty

Being color blind is a blessing, not a curse. One St. Patrick’s Day, a friend and I went to a cozy little New England restaurant. Naturally we ordered corned beef and cabbage. The night before, we played poker and drank booze till the wee hours. When we exited the restaurant, my friend staggered over to the dumpster, outside, and “heaved up.” He said, “I would have been all right if it wasn’t for those “green potatoes.” I didn’t know the potatoes were green. Perhaps my color-blindness spared me some misery. Thank-You my Master. Lord of all power and knowledge, past, present and future.
