A couple I know “broke up” recently. I love them both. When they met, they were both in rehab. I know they have heard not to get into a relationship for at least a year after you get sober. As sick as I was, I would recommend 5 years. I heard, “Two sickies don’t make a welly.”

Two people very near and dear to me got sober through the 12 steps. One at age 25 and one at age 74. Never too soon and it’s never too late. Life is good.
