a Yankee can be a rebel too

I notice many people rebel. We like to do
just the opposite of what we are told. A
friend recently asked me to carve him a sign
that says, “Eat More … Die Sooner.” He said
if it says “Eat Less … Live Longer” he will
pay no heed to it.

I read once in the “Book Of Wisdom”
”A wise person wants to be corrected, a
rebel hates to be scolded.”

This world, today, is confused by the meaning of success.
You can’t take it with you, know this –and be blest.
For some, life is not easy, but death has no cure.
Everlasting happiness comes to those who endure.
