Maybe now, I’ll be forced to rely on my wit
And though I surrendered, it don’t mean that I quit.
Each day is new, a blind, curious journey
With all of life’s trials, God is still my attorney.

    Finding Friends In The Unexpected

When picking out what I didn’t like about people I
would often get a resentment. A resentment
only hurts myself. The other person never
even know I didn’t like him or her.

I would be burning up a lot of energy
and time nursing the grudge. A respectable
compardre told me, “When you hear someone
say something that you relate to, Good
or Bad, go and talk to that person when
you get a chance.” By doing this, I have
turned many an “enemy” into a friend.
It’s like turning insanity into truth.
    Ignorance into Knowledge.

The first friend I made kept saying, “I
don’t see how anyone can be sober today and
not be grateful.” We went outside and I
said to him –“Were you talking about me in
    there?” No No Nooo

God knows what he is doin’, yes He’s got a plan
I wore out my body, ‘fore I changed into a man.
Yes, I punished my body, it’s been abused.
But my brain is like new, it’s never been used.
