    Enjoy The Journey

I am learning that life is a journey. The goal or destination is heaven. The Master created all we have. Even for our enjoyment. I used to  think, What kind of life can a priest or nun, rabbi, pastor, minister (clergy) have? It must be boring. Well, I was knocked down to my knees and at first I thought I was the most boring person in the world. My hobbies have changed now. I like my life. I’ll take a “boring” life over the life of chaos which I used to have. To me, “Life Is Good.” The good life is here. I, by no means claim to be a clergyman (I have not had the schooling and such) but I can see now that a positive life is the one for me.

Head for the light. Keep clean. There are many like me. Like us. Allow change. Stop fighting change. It’s much easier. Float down the river, not up.

I believe God will give me a good ol’ back pain
To forget about what’s eatin’ at my brain.
There’s a reason for you and a reason for me
Who cares what it is, it’s just meant to be.
Little things count … Help your kid tie a shoe
The less we complain, the more we can do.

    Tree Falling

Don’t question everything. Be a childlike believer. Not Naïve, Not gullible.

One question I find annoying must have been thought up by a real simpleton. By a dunderhead.

“Does a tree make noise if it falls in the woods and nobody’s there?”

Of course it does. I was sitting in the woods one day with my rifle in my lap. All of a sudden I heard a loud cracking of a tree falling. So loud I thought it was falling on me. I know for a fact that sucker made that noise whether I was there to hear it or not. And if it wanted to fall on me, my rifle would not have helped me. By the grace of God, it didn’t hit me. In fact, I don’t even think I ever found it. But, it was loud. LOUD. Even if I wasn’t there.
