“Some Days Are Better Than Others”
When I started my new journey, I was in the hospital, feelin’ mighty low. Miserable. A nurse was there and she said, “Well, at least you’re still young.”
I replied, “What do you mean? I’m thirty years old.”
It’s been over twenty years now and I feel better physically, mentally, and spiritually, than I did at thirty. Time does heal. Now I think it’s rather humorous that the baby in my family is a member or AARP.
I’d call for myself, there was no answer, all alone
So, I’d leave me a message on my telephone
”When you get back, get in touch with me”
I’m way out here in the land of the lonely”
Couldn’t talk to no one, didn’t dare to speak
They mighta found out, I was some kinda freak.
Love Not Hate
If I have a resentment, I must pray for that person. Pray that they have everything that I would like to have. Pray for them to see the light. God bless them and heal me. God heal them and bless me. Chances are they don’t even know I have a resentment towards them. It only hurts me. They just go about their business as usual. Resentment will block the channel between me and my Master. Lord, free up my mind and soul. Make me ready.
