    Ides Of March

“Beware, The Ides Of March.” That means the middle of March. This was a warning to Caesar from a fortune teller shortly before his death.

There is nothing (that I know of) that says fortune tellers or mediums cannot predict the future. That’s perhaps a matter of what one believes. However, wisdom says we should not consult with them.

Yay or nay, consulting the fortune teller did not do any good at all. Master, there is a reason you do not want me to know the future. It is for my own good. “Sprinkle enough of the future” on me just to get through today. Thank-You.

When I’m way down low. He picks me up

Gives me a drink outa His own cup
When I realized I was crazy, I went insane
When I surrendered, He relieved the pain.

    Gifts

A lot of people try out to be the “American Idol.” Truly, a lot of talent passes through. In a season over 100,000 people are “weeded out.” Whittled down to ten or twelve people. Those lucky dozen probably make a good career with their God-given talent. Does this mean the rest of them are no good? No. God has a plan for all of us. We are all “Just Passing Through.” Do what we can with what the Master has given us. If it is His will, we will “make a name” to be remembered. We must remember who the real Idol is. One day, everyone in the whole world will have heard of Him. Not just America. Let us make use of your gifts to us, Lord.
